What happens when exposed to styrene?

As per the US-based Environment Protection Agency (EPA), short-term exposure to the substance can result in respiratory problems, irritation in the eyes, irritation in the mucous membrane, and gastrointestinal issues. And long-term exposure could drastically affect the central nervous system and lead to other related problems like peripheral neuropathy. It could also lead to cancer and depression in some cases.

 What is Styrene.?

Basically it is ethenyl benzene.

 Basically it is found in liquid state and has property to evaporates easily. Styrene is named after storax balsam, the resin of Liquidambar trees of the Altingiaceae plant family. It is very critical situation in the country during the COVID-19 Pandemic while country is fighting with the pandemic meanwhile a miss-happening of gas leaks in Vishakhapatnam causes panic situation in the region . As of 7,may,2020 almost 11 peoples have been killed and almost more than 300 peoples are seriously exposed to gas. However, there is no exact reason of gas leaks found yet.
